Happy New Year!
With the start of 2025, we are excited to announce that submissions are open again after our hiatus in the second half of 2024.
We also want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as the team at Dusty Attic was in transition the last few months. Things were very quiet around here, but we are pleased to share that Dusty Attic is now a purely Canadian publication.
As we plunge forth into the coming year, the Dusty Attic team is looking forward to reading your short stories and poetry in the coming weeks! However, things are going to be a little bit different.
To accommodate the continuing chaos that is our lives, Dusty Attic will be shifting from a quarterly publishing schedule to a semi annual schedule; with an issue releasing in April and in October. Our submission periods will be in the month of January and the month of July.
This will give us more time to make sure we’re bringing you the very best work that we can while maintaining our sanity.
That doesn’t mean Dusty Attic will be a quiet place with no activity. No!
We are going to be ramping up activity over on our Patreon with plenty of free and paid content. If you haven’t, please consider following us there as that’s the best way to keep track of all the Attic shenanigans.
